🏈 One More year w/ Williams, Jackson, Anderson ...

There are 49 players who are eligible for the draft this year.

And do we have a list of who has announced stay or leave? I would assume that the majority of the 49 are a stay and only a handful need to be tracked... I would be nice to have it consolidated in one location so we don't have to read 5 pages+ pages of treads to see who is announced to date. Maybe a single post that you as an Admin control and then sticky it? Have a list of the most likely to leave and then update that single post as they announce? Would also be a great place to keep track of any transfers....

@94 Grad With the number of characters allowed in the title, I'm thinking we'll just update with each announcement.

History tells us there will be a press conference here in the next few days with announcements.

Mel Kiper mock draft: 4 Alabama players land in Top 20
Mel Kiper mock draft: 4 Alabama players land in Top 20

Four months ago, we dissected several NFL mock drafts to find that Alabama was in for another strong year in Chicago.

But while several players were mentioned, few mocks had more than two Tide players listed as first-round picks.

One national championship run later, vaunted ESPN analyst Mel Kiper, Jr., placed four Crimson Tide players in the top 20 of his first postseason mock draft.

The mock, available to ESPN Insider subscribers only, included the following Tide players:

  • Linebacker Reggie Ragland (No. 11, Chicago)
  • Defensive lineman A’Shawn Robinson (No. 12, New Orleans)
  • Defensive lineman Jarran Reed (No. 16, Detroit)
  • Defensive lineman Jonathan Allen (No. 19, Buffalo)

A handful of Alabama underclassmen have NFL draft decisions to make and there isn't much time to waste. The deadline to declare is Friday, though there's a 72-hour window to reverse course and return to school.

The close proximity of the deadline and the national title game is an issue Nick Saban said needs to be addressed. But the rules aren't changing this year with a half dozen Alabama players weighing options.
