On a site note - Such a shame whatever happened with Grant Hill. He likely would have been a multiple year starter at RT.

Good call.....I too have wondered about Hill. I know it was personal issues, but nothing outside of that. Last thing I remember reading was that he was nowhere near being in football shape and had to get some crap together personally before he would be able to come back and get ready in order to compete. Anybody heard anything?
 
Alabama LB Tim Williams returning for senior season

Alabama outside linebacker Tim Williams announced Wednesday evening on Twitter that he will return to school for his senior season.


After recording just eight tackles and 1.5 sacks over his first two seasons, the 6-foot-4, 230-pound pass rusher broke out in 2015, playing a key role for Alabama's ferocious defense.

In 15 games, he tallied 19 tackles, 12.5 tackles for loss, 10.5 sacks, four quarterback hurries and one pass breakup. He ranked second on the team in both sacks and tackles for loss.

Williams has played in 34 career games over the past three seasons for the Crimson Tide.

A former four-star recruit out of Baton Rouge (La.) University Lab, Williams was ranked as the nation's No. 83 overall prospect and No. 2 weak-side defensive end in the 2013 cycle, according to the 247Sports Composite.
 
Always good to hear! I imagine that his grade, though high, wasn't where he thought it would be and the words from Saban resonating about becoming a 3 down player and needing to be on the field all the time.
 
Like I posted in a another thread, all of our juniors can't be first rounders this year. We've got some studs, no doubt, but they can't all go that high. I sure hope a few more come back.

Clemson just lost six, yes 6, defensive starters to the draft, and that was just the juniors... LSU all over again. Those guys will not all be 1st rounders and I'll be willing to bet they all don't go in the 1st or 2nd rounds.
 
So Timmy and Eddie are coming back. I think its pretty safe to assume we can put A'Shawn and Henry in the "gone" column. I think OJ Howard and Jonathan Allen are the guys we need to watch out for now.
