They haven't seen any of my cash in years...FYI- Starbucks has now gone cashless.
Same here. And it will stay that way. They haven't seen any of my cash in years...
Me either. Just ran across the info in the past couple of days. The cashless push is a freedom killer. When there isn’t cash it is easy to control people with access to their bank accounts. They haven't seen any of my cash in years...

Yeah but you lose your "freedom" by not having to have a bunch of bills in your wallet. I can't imagine how free it must feel to lose said wallet or have it stolen and all those bills plus any cards you have be gone either... /sCashless was fast and easy at BD over weekend. I like it. Seems digging for 20s is a thing of past.
Even guys selling up and down aisles took CCards.

So ho many times u lost or had wallet stolenSince you're injecting this into the thread, I'd say it's more privacy and choice. I like carrying cash in my pocket. It's usually a fraction of what the phone in my other pocket is worth. If you've had a lost or compromised credit or debit card, it's cancelled and you're out of luck until the replacement is in hand. The only exception was when I had some fraud on my Amex, once I confirmed the card was in my possession, they kept the card turned on for chip purchases only until the new card showed in two days. That was pretty refreshing compared to the kneejerk debit card vendors.
I use my Amex for many purchases, and I know that in exchange for the benefits I receive from using it, I'm leaving a trail. It's a choice I make, I'm not keen on being told.
Wait...what?!!!!...you have to dig for 20s like its chump change?Cashless was fast and easy at BD over weekend. I like it. Seems digging for 20s is a thing of past.
