And still another six to eight weeks on top of this before a ruling is announcement.

This, based on the penalty matrix. Plus a really serious financial penalty....maybe more than 1 years worth of football revenue. The finanical penalty will be primarily for the ACT fraud stuff which happened so long ago.

USCw and Penn State recovered quickly....
But Ole Ms will not.....
Probably 10 years to be competitive again

I realize these numbers seem high--at least higher than we've seen prognosticated by some--but they do fit with the penalty matrix as I understand this new system.

This shocks me. Matt Luke with a show cause? Yes, it can get worse.

USCw and Penn State recovered quickly....

Remember, Penn State had their sanctions overturned. USC a completely different scenario because even under sanctions they were still able to land the five star talent(s) out of Southern Cal.

IF Ole Miss gets lighter sanctions than those of USC they'll still be down, longer. People will say "slap on the wrist" while ignoring what it means when we're talking Ole Miss.

Right .......PSU did get some relief...but also had a couple years before plus the stigma of what happened.....more disgusting and in humane then any I ever heard of...

..but still recovered relatively quick with a couple of really decent coaches buying in...
And the job Kiffin did recruiting at USC with all those sanctions was incredible because ..they are USC...
Ole Ms is facing a long term disaster.... will be interesting to watch as things unfold
