Bylaws should be updated.

I couldn't agree more.

What really strikes me here is how many people who cover the sport had no idea there had to be an ineligible player. I didn't.

It's just everyone screaming about UNC a few years ago when there wasn't an established bylaw for the committee to rule differently. And, if they did over step those boundaries? See Penn State.
