His holding up a new commander of the Marine Corps over something he could’ve fought is ignorant plain and simple.

Don’t like the pentagon’s stance on reproductive health great, he’s a senator fight it, but this isn’t how.

But, we can agree about our taxes going towards defense spending, it should be cut drastically

The law says that in the risk of the life of the mother, rape, or incest, these expenses will be covered.

If you're saying you'd pick the child, in the case of the mother's future being uncertain...I'd hope there's provisions included.

Cut the defense spending and you'll cut my job. You'll cut the budget because with China, North Korea threatening a war.... We can't afford to relax. Where do you cut defense spending? We already had several cuts.. how much you have to cut?

He fought this when it was introduced.
He said he was going to oppose nominations if this happened.

What's ignorant about saying, "I'm going to do this if you do that" and then ... lawd, he did it?

The current policy Tubs is objecting to is against the law.

You may not like he's holding up confirmations; I get that. He did warn them several months ago this was coming if they proceeded.

You're still left with his main point: current policy is against the law and it's unconstitutional.

As the current law states, they'll (USG) pay for any expense for travel to another state. But where is the risk to the mother outlawed? In states, by their choice...so, you'll go elsewhere
