🏈 OJ's coming back

I'm sorry guys....and maybe I am in the minority ...I know he came up big in the national champ game but he was notorious for coming up short.....dropping passes....missing a dump truck load of blocks....and running out of bounds not knowing what yardline he had to get to.....also he let a midget steal the ball from him to lose the ole miss game last year.I hope he improves and turns out to be a great player.Don't get me wrong he has the potential to be a show stopper...but he needs to improve his game all around. Maybe another year of Kiffen showcasing his talent will help. I have basically been cursing his name the last few years and low and behold he comes up huge in the NC game. Im just not as excited as the rest I guess

"Notorious for dropping passes"? Oh really? You can count his drops from this year on one hand. And he improved MASSIVELY blocking this year which will only get better. You really gotta let that thing with Ole Miss go, that was two years ago man... I just dont really understand you pissing on him coming back. Why have you cursed his name? How many opportunities did you see him get like he got in the title game the past cpl years? How many go routes did you see him run AT ALL this year? How many times did you see them go to him on bootlegs (I can remember off the top of my head three times and all three he got 30+ yards on the play)? I dont know if it was just simply Kiffin game planning in other areas, if it was Coker, or what the deal was but OJ was never used to his full potential. And I dont really get where you come with stuff like all the drops he supposedly had. I remember the drop against Florida and I think he had one against Texas A&M and cannot think of a single other drop he had this year. Mullaney had more drops in the title game than Howard had all year I'd venture to say.

OJ is special. Have to believe that our running game will be 'a work in progress' to begin the year. All eyes will obviously be on Ridley and hopefully a healthy Foster adds a weapon, BUT getting OJ more involved will take pressure off inexperienced QB and RBs.

I usually agree with you, but not so much this time. I didn't watch him every game, but I GUARANTEE you if you look at him throughout the SEC champ game, he was HORRIBLE with his blocking - many times he didn't touch ANYONE. Of course he could be more sure-handed, but I am looking for him to ride the wave of success in the title game into the spring and become a NIGHTMARE to cover next fall. Still, when he's out there to block, he needs to get a hat on a hat and BLOCK!
