Coach Bryant loved the off week before big games. No game was bigger to him than ut. It was once said that he could have prepared for "V' day if he had two weeks in which to do so. When he and Paterno sat down to work out the 10 year series, he had to slot PSU into 4 of the off days he had scheduled prior to ut games.
