It was a LONG 25 year wait from 1987 to 2012, in between games with Notre Dame. That loss in 1987 was inexcusable....I'm STILL pissed about it, even after we cleaned their clocks in the 2012 BCSNCG. Losing to them that year was bad enough. But....37-6....NO!! I'll never get over it. One 42-14 beat down wasn't nearly enough for me. We owe them SO much more.

I had a feeling that year we would finally get to repay them. My aunt wanted them to lose a game late in the season & I remember telling her "No, we want them to win out so Bama can give them their loss!" So glad that came true.

Since Saban's time at Bama they went through a string of revenge games I've been wanting. Against ND, OU, Texas, Michigan, etc.

I hate ND. To this day I am not a fan of Ara Parseghian either. Painfully watched those 70's games. That is why the 2012 game was so fulfilling. I would not be opposed to another nice beat down of ND by the Tide.
