I'm still slow following the game and can only catch so much and didn't notice how much playing time Nico got at LB today. Noticed his play on special teams but how much and how well did he do at LB? Thanks

This is from rolltide.com. Nico had 2 solo and one asst. and he had one force fumble too.

yea Nico got some good playing time today. i did notice him on a cpl plays tho.

Nico played quite a bit yesterday. He was in about halfway into the first quarter...we went back to the set with Anders at JACK, Ro at MIKE and Reamer at SAM.

The rotation yesterday was really more of a Nico in, Upshaw out and when Courtney came back in we slid everyone except Ro.

From what I saw he had a pretty good game, especially for a true freshman. We have some serious depth at LB (and everywhere else). It's good to be a Bama fan!
