Rumor has it, Refs for the UT Alabama game were trying to get to the locker room to change so they could celebrate with their friends and family.
Honestly, doesn't surprise me, some of these guys are just people too. It does worry me when we get calls like we did in both of our UT games this year. Seems like there was some unexplored bias already from someone. Perhaps an unhappy offical Saban called out or just a homer who hates Bama. Either way, with actions like this, sometimes you have to wonder.
This doesn't bother me at all. These guys have kids and grandkids, and what if they want it themselves for their Man Cave. Those guys take enough shit from the players, coaches, fans, and media that if an autograph is the only extra perk they receive, then who cares. This doesn't mean they aren't professional.
But itās against the rules of both the NFL & the officialsā union.
I could see a situation where the next game Evans gets a few calls & it becomes a shit show.

Donāt know the exact rule but itās referenced in the article at the beginning of the thread.
Says itās part of the collective bargaining agreement between NFL & officials union.
