šŸˆ GAME THREAD New Years Day bowl games--

That looked like an LSU interception to me. Too bad the ogre wasted their last timeout on a pointless review otherwise they would have had time to look at and reverse that play.

With ejections, suspensions and injuries, LSWho played without 8 or 9 starters depending on whom you ask. Yes, UCF's starting QB didn't play, but 8 starters!!!

Only Coach Ƙ could have coached that game to end this close, but at least they won. I would like to see UCF play 6-7 games like that per year and, say, 3 or 4 in a row and then we'll see how their record looks.

SEC, SEC, SEC

LSU literally beat this so-called offensive juggernaut with a backup defense. The tigers made it a LOS game and as the announcers said, the diff between the power 5 and G5 is the size and speed at the LOS.

Show where that helmet ended up? It literally knocked Burrows helmet sideways and he's gone.
That's not the point of the rule, is it? It does emphasis how bad the rule is though.

Here we have the initial contact in the shoulder area and that's a legitimate hit. His face is down, he's not launching at his neck or head area. But, because of the impact there's helmet to helmet contact. I see it as another wide interpretation of a bad rule.

I didn't have any problem with it as the rule goes. Follow the hit all the way through and it's plenty clear enough. I saw clearly his intentions and he got what he was aiming at when you send the helmet high. Just because these guys quickly come down with a bad case of buyer's remorse after the fact doesn't change it with me.
