šŸˆ My Family says i'm the luckiest guy alive

Oh wait.....I forgot about the time I won 3,333 bucks. Through work there was a 10k drawing out of 40 people based on sales. They drew down and I made It all the way to the last 3 and we decided to stop drawing and split it.... I guess that one is better than the tix and prolly second to the car....this has turned into a brag thread.....sorry. They went ahead and drew to the last one and it was me....so could have taken home the whole 10k. But I was happy to stop and walk away with the 3k.

Everyone asks me how I win so much......I enter a lot of contests with the mentality that I'm gonna win and I try to win. A lot of people say "I never win anything" ....and then they don't try to win anything.

sleep in the car on the way back sunday Main! Dont be raining on my parade. We did this for the Bama/Michigan game a few years back. Had a great time.

You can find a cheap hotel. It's not like Tuscaloosa hotels during a game weekend. When we went to the Michigan-Alabama game a few years ago, we had a nice hotel close to restaurants for less than $100.

This, but I imagine this gives him an excuse to see his friend :)

Stay with the friend on Friday night. Get a hotel for after the game (a long day of tailgating in TX heat and then the game will guarantee you get a little sleepy). Go back to the friend's house on Sunday and drive back home on Monday.

P.S. If you're tailgating, bring your own stuff. Not a lot of establishments near the stadium. I went to a Jack-in-the-Box and it was PACKED.

Tailgaiting is a miserable experience at Cowboy Stadium... The worst I've ever had. Asphalt jungle, minimal trees, no shade, scorching heat... Don't expect much enjoyment. You're better off hanging out somewhere inside before hand.

Not sure what you're talking about...there are plenty of trees, just go 1-2 blocks east of the stadium, usually where I park so I can escape the madness easily.

Sure there is alot of concrete around the stadium, but there are trees, just gotta hike a bit to get to them.

It's certainly not the best place for tailgating, but there are trees.

Just curious....

Are there any trees??

Are there any trees??

It's all about expectations. Are there trees in Dallas like there are in Alabama, HELL NO. The entire metroplex is a concrete jungle. If you expect to have trees in Dallas like there are in Alabama then you have the wrong expectations.

There are tree's just gotta walk a few blocks. See picture below.

More importantly, the Texas Rangers are away, so that will free up some parking.

I got it. I've been there. Texas just isn't my favorite place to take a shit. That's all. And the reason for that is because in order to take a shit in Texas, one must actually be IN Texas to do so. And I try to NOT be in Texas as much as possible.

Hike to trees? We brought cornhole, chairs, coolers, small grill... The normal necessities. If everyone is hiking to the handful of trees in the area, you'd better beat them to it.
Regardless, even with a small tent it's hot as shit. Just a different type of heat in Dallas.
All I'm saying is it's not a good place to tailgate. We all left there looking like drunken dehydrated lobsters. Still a good time...

If I recall there was a Walmart...just to the left of the stadium. Across the street on the left side, that was handy when it started raining. Look at the pic it's the thing with the big white roof. Good for getting out of heat and rain
