I'm very proud of the Bama win.

I really understand how excited players and they are only kids but I get was disappointed with some players behavior last night. I thought we had too many players calling attention to themselves throughout the game. From Gmac doing the 'hook em down' to Ingram doing the 'double throat slash' and even Darius throwing the ball after his TD. I just wish we could show a little more sportmanship class.

It must a constant struggle for coaches to teach humbleness but I hope we can demonstate more class in coming seasons.

It didn't bother me at all last night. It's the largest game and they were on the largest stage. They worked their tails off to get there and more or less controlled the game for the most part. I don't mind them showing some excitement. I don't think it ever went to far at all. Had we been playing Vanderbilt or Northwestern I would not have liked to see it, but in the NC game...it's not going to bother me.

Well ALL bama players have always shown class and were nothing like Miami that jumps up and act as if they won the NT when they make a tackle

so if thats the worst we have in a game i can take that :D

Yeah I just think yall need to lighten up forreal. Those guys worked 365+ days to get to this point, let em enjoy it. i was sitten there doing the 'down' hook em horns sign with em.

Yea Ive seen alot worse...nothing worse than the Hurricanes in the late 80's and 90's.....looked like a bunch of LA gang members in pads. They didnt cross the line IMO....and I doubt Marcel will throw another football

Doesn't bother me at all, in fact...I would be disappointed if I didn't see some self expressive excitement.

Let's be honest, it really wasn't that bad. It's not like we're harking back to the days of "The U" or anything.

Good to see some emotion. These guys are disciplined in their training like many of us will never comprehend. The pain, the effort, being hurt, and watching others get hurt, all takes a physical and emotional toll. They know how far they can go without getting reamed out when they get back to the bench.

It's the title game, and it's where Alabama belongs. It's awesome, and it still hasn't sunk in!

Ingram won the Heisman, and I can recall at least 4 or 5 times this year when he managed to get us back into a game whenever it seemed like victory was slipping away.

Point is - Ingram can double slash throat or whatever the heck else he wants to do. He's the one on the field bringing us the glory. Who the heck are we to tell him how to behave? Besides, I didn't see anything wrong with the way any of our players presented themselves during or after the game.

If GMac wants to to do the horns down, Ingram do the double throat slash, Marcel throw the ball, or if Big Al wants to run up to Bevo and dog hump his leg I don't care. We have waited 17 years for this National Championship and after the disappointment from last year and all the hard work they put in for the outcome of this year I have no problem at all with them doing what they did. And like AFF said how many times has either our defense or Ingram or GMac brought us back into a game?

First of all, I am not entirely sure that Dareus even realized what he was doing due to the extreme improbability of a man of his size and speed ever having anything like that happen to him.

He was in another world, emotion wise, especially after his deft twirling action that propelled him onto pay dirt in what was most assuredly the biggest game of his life.

Take his action and compare it to Hernandez of the Gator's who, after already having an insurmountable lead against poor old FSU, took the time to set himself and do a Heisman pose before slinging the ball to the upper decks.

Naw, give Dareus a break and stop being such a stiff old curmudgeon.

Also, pay more attention to the actions of the players on the field of play, where actions matter. Teenagers goofing off on the sidelines is hardly an area that needs critiquing by an uninvolved adult fan.

Watch how, after plowing opposing players into the turf, almost to a man, the Alabama players offer a hand up.

That is class.

Pay attention to how, when an opposing player is stood up, 'Bama players don't pile on and bring him to the ground no matter how many whistles are blowing.

Instead, they pat the guy on the back and release him without having to prove they are better men by actually making him touch the ground.

That is class.

Observe the way in which, even when it wouldn't be a late hit, many 'Bama defenders go out of their way to not inflict a devastating hit on an unprotected QB.

That is class.

So many good things to talk about and so little negative.

pretty much hit the nail on the head.

...I cannot believe someone posted such nonsense....

Get off the little negative stuff that happened. They handled themselves like champions all year.

They deserved to have fun and I enjoyed watching it.
