It was that weekend in the NFL that made people sensitive when alot of people were seriously injured all of a sudden. Think thats harsh? They even labled "dangerous hits" as being suspension worthy in the NFL. So basically what I am saying is that it coould be worse, and also if Miliner were in the NFL he wouldnt be playing next weeken. Lame? Yea. Though i can understand if the moo st players hit could have been prevented.

I would have to disagree with you Joe on Milliner's hit. I think if he were in the NFL, they would look into the circumstances surrounding that hit. It wasn't intentional and with the UT receiver losing his balance and falling backward, they would rule there was no intent and therefore no penalty or fine. I'm sure if the SEC office suspended the MSU kid, they looked at film and I imagine that Milliner's hit was seen as well.

I wish i could remember specific things to the contrary in the nfl, but i can only think of it in general terms. But i will say its very easy to get penalized.

though, thed have to look at it in the sec first, so i agree there. Im sure the MSU kid had it coming, like how the entire AU offensive line will have it coming if they make it to the SECCG.



Im taking up a litltle for the SEC here, though I am blasting the NFL because they may prevent me from seeing courtland finnegan do something to some pansy WR on some random weekend.
EDIT: BTW, if Kirby Smart ever leaves, chuck cecil for new DC. He maybe more firey than Muschamp. Hes also a former DB for the Packers, i think saban would love him.

The MSU hit or Milliner's? They said on Fox 6 last night that ALL of ESPN's cameras didn't catch it at Starkvegas. I believe it was after the play on the MSU hit.

Thing I don't understand is the fact that the MSU player that got suspended didn't get a personal foul. :headscratch:

The SEC defends the zebras on the field come hell or high water for making some of the most assinine calls , and then go and do this? I don't agree with it.

I'm all for protecting the players as much as possible, but if your going to retroactively correct officials mistakes, then lets do it across the board. I would like to go back to around 1995 and play the last 2 minutes of the Arkansas game where they had 12 men on the field and won on a last minute play.
