Hate to say it.... Barrett Jones..... Probably throw Dee Milliner in there too, though he did have a lot of injury issues, not sure if you could count the injury deal with being overrated as much as bad juju.

...our place kicker Foster....top FG kicker....big guy....kckoffs.... he never materized as the top place kicker....even though he held the job so many years...

....no one will believe this... but Scott Hunter....QB in the late 60s...great stats....but important Ws were hard to find... ( excep the great shootout with Archie Manning in 69...lost next week to vandy....) could have just been team around him...

I remember the talk....he would take bama to new heights....
And after bama- ole ms.....the great shootout...
It was assured....and ..so...it never did...... sure tossed for a lot of yards...
Maybe the teams weren’t bama/bear quality

For me jerrell Harris was a let down from what I expected . Just goes to show you it takes mental talent as well as physical.

I came close saying this about Trent. But I thought I would wait to see what other one would say. DJ must have done something stupid for Coach Saban not to put him in against Lou.Monroe till after the half! But then again he was rooting out the bad seed. I remember another coach doing that same than.

Over-rated pro player? I don't know about over-rated but the biggest disappointment would be Trent Richardson.

How about Brent Calloway or BJ Scott? Calloway due to the drama. BJ Scott was a 5 star and was one I always expected to be a stud but never lived up to it.

There’s a ton that didn’t even touch their potential or expectations. I liked DJ. He made some big plays after Pro went down during that 2005 season when our offense was about as bad as it’s ever been. Saved our ass with that huge catch against UT. There was a Casteel, Maybe it was Simeon, and another DB that returned in 2006. Both were overrated in my opinion. The other guy had the nickname of Hollywood or something. Ramzee Robinson I think.
