🏀 Miss State @ Alabama today 1:30pm via SEC Network

Seems like when the officials get ticky-tacky, Alabama struggles. Don't get me wrong, the officials sucked both ways, but when the whistles blow every time down the court it seems that doesn't suit the way the Tide plays best.

Still need to shoot better...

imo the wins at UF and LSU gave us a little room to breathe. Not as much LSU with them losing again but i do believe as long as we win the rest of our winnable games (not even looking at UK) and win a game or 2 in the SEC tourney i think we are fine. Either way this team has overachieved their asses off this season and im glad to see it. Was kinda disappointed when they showed the crowd filing out when only down by 7 with a min left though. Pretty sure the players werent too happy about that either

I smelt a rat as soon as I saw that line. That's a devastating loss.
I still don't see that as a sucker line UNLESS people were betting with emotion versus reason.

If we look back, most of the games between these two teams fall into that +/- 5 points final score.

Probably drops us into 1st four out category. LSU getting clobbered by UT helps us a bit.
While I realize people don't seem to care for Lunardi, I have to balance that with how often he's right. (That comes with the caveat of knowing he can adjust his teams on a daily basis so he's assured of being right a lot.) I too have some issues with the BPI.

As of last night, he's got Bama as "last four in."

Any illness going around on the team ... Norris and Coleman seemed to be dead legged.
How much of that has to do with Johnson trying to keep the emotions of the team on an even keel? Considering the past week and how he'd want to keep this team grounded, it seems it may have resulted in them being a little lack-luster.

One of the improvements I've noticed this season is the mental fortitude of this team—they're learning how to finish. But, those things ... it's a growing process. They've been on quite an emotional journey this season.

Kentucky shouldn't have lost that game to TAMU, what a BS way to win the game. Next up, Kentucky :)
After binge watching SEC basketball yesterday, I am confused. I thought I knew what a legal screen looked like, but I saw multiple calls for illegal screens that confounded me, and angered the coahes and players. Several of these were big momentum changers, in our game and in the UK game. As was said on the air, call it consistently and the players and coaches can adjust.

Kentucky in Rupp is never easy, but we do catch one break, in that it is unlikely that Willis or Poythress will be available for them.

That worries me too. Bama lost to Vandy, and they're in the first four out.

That worries me too.
There's no worry on my part. I'm not going to be upset if this team doesn't make the dance: no one really expected it, including me. That was compounded with the injury early on.

No matter how this season ends, I've seen A LOT of improvement in more than one facet of the squad. Seeing this kind of improvement gives me something to look at and appreciate.
