🏈 Miles is now the highest paid SEC coach

I heard on ATL radio last week that good ol Richt was renegotiating his contract as well to be the highest paid in the SEC, I don't know what all came of it.. but its interesting. First we get all kinds of hell for paying a coach that much.. now it seems we were just setting the trend.. Good to be back to that point! Roll Tide!

Dick Cheney speaks... "A real American wouldn't have resorted to this as we are all doing our part fighting terrorism wherever and whatever the cost may be. In summary, Les is more Miles to go or so they say...!"

Amazing...from the article:

It is believed Notre Dame's Charlie Weis is the highest-paid coach in the country with an annual salary of $4.2 million, and USC's Pete Carroll is second at $3.8 million per season.

The way that ESPN was bashing Alabama for paying Saban so much money, who would have guessed that he was #4 at best...Ferentz at Iowa makes more as well. There may be others...yet it was Alabama that raised the bar in coaching salaries? Give me a break.
