🏈 McMillon...Yet Another One

Yeah...and a good many of those guys were there when Davis was there...he was there last year...so yeah...Ashawn may have somethings to say about it. D-line definitely did not play with the same intensity when he wasn't there.

This is just an opinion...you act like you're Kirby's brother or something. He's a big boy and doesn't give 2 $hits what is said on this board. Why you taking this so personally?

You really are a douche bag when you don't agree with people aren't you?!

And a good many were there when Bo Davis wasnt... saying that the defense was soft because of Kirby is just... well... dumb...

Its not personal, and you can have any opinion you want. I just think its a dumb opinion... and I can have and share that opinion so get over it.

Im a douche bag in general...

Joshua McMillon explains why he missed UA practices
Alabama redshirt freshman linebacker Joshua McMillon shared why he missed the Crimson Tide's last two practices.

McMillon was not present during Alabama's final two practices ahead of game week because he was attending his uncle's funeral, he announced via Twitter on Sunday evening. The tweet came about after a report surfaced that McMillon had left the Crimson Tide program and would transfer. He said the report is false and "I Will Be A Member Of The Crimson Tide For Life."

The redshirt freshman linebacker has been practicing with the inside 'backers since the later portions of last season.

McMillon, a Tennessee native, was a four-star prospect and the No. 9 player in the Volunteer state and No. 16 outside linebacker in the 2015 recruiting cycle, according to the industry-generated 247Sports Composite rankings.

Two wrongs in a week. This dude has got trifecta written all over him.[/QUOTE]

LOL.. I made this comment on the other board.. but never believe anything out of TD alabama. Not a credible source, I am familiar with them and they have no insight into the program.. take everything they put out with a grain of salt. Media has very little credibility with me and I am part of it but these guys aren't even credible enough to be called media.

You cannot report until you have fact... this crap of reporting hearsay needs to stop. Message board guys want to do it.. that is fine but the media is supposed to be held to a higher standard.

I've tried to keep my expectations real low for some time with the media. All this hearsay dressed up like fact but nowhere to go, it gets old, fast. Most message board propaganda is going to be qualified as at least entertainment. But these people flashing Bama credentials and talking smack for the sake of being first should lose some serious street cred with the same Crimson audience they're trying to impress.

It used to be called "editorial credibility". It was the back bone of being a magazine or newspaper. It allowed you to get advertisers because you would be thought of as a resource for what is truly going on.. you had the inside scoop. Now it's just about having a story and how fast you can get it out.. if it turns out to be correct then you are the man.. if not then your "sources" were wrong. It used to be that you would be given some inside information.. you wouldn't dare report it until you got a witness to validate on the record or some other proof. Now they use "source" or "unnamed source" as a cover to just make something up and grab headlines. People are tried in the court of public opinion with only one slanted side of the story out to see.

As a member of the media, it is embarrassing how far the industry has fallen and that the people that read it allow themselves to be persuaded by people who are printing half truthes and slanted bias editorial and to just go along with whatever they read. People are sheep that believe what they read now days and they media preys on their stupidity to accomplish the agenda for whoever is greasing their palms with cash.

Anyone reporting it publicly in my opinion should be held to similar standards, whether it be a message board person or the media. They both create the same kinda chatter.
This is one of them that just didn't make sense, Matt. TDA is tweeting this story out when another site has notes up about McMillon's locker still being set up before practices as well as equipment for him.

BUT, he has transferred?

I've seen/read a handful of people accusing Smith of copying bits and pieces from another sites writers for his breaking news bit on Hurts.

Not sure what's going on with the quote brackets today?

The truth has never been that easy to get your arms around in the first place. But I'm guessing the pressure to be first and the ease of entry into the worldwide web is pushing poor journalism past stupid at the speed of light. This swift click of a mouse or twitter button is taking a terrible culture to new lows.

And if you want to see some "sheep" just watch Stephen M Smith tweet his next Bama revelation :headscratch:
