Like the article said, McElroy has been acting like he's the starter for months now. To be honest I don't really see this as being much of a "QB battle." I know Saban doesn't want to just hand it over to anyone, he wants them to work for it. But, to me, it's no secret that Greg is much more mature than most anyone on that team and that he is out performing all of the other QB's on the roster right now (even if it is during practice sessions). We have yet to see McElroy in a true game situation...but he sure seems to be a natural born leader and a very smart guy.
