🏈 malcolm mitchell, #1 cb, set to announce any minute.

I undersand he drug out the PC and it took him about an hour+ to say he was going to Georgia.

LOL! It was brutal following this on Twitter. LeBron James made his announcement that he was going to the Miami Heat in 27 minutes...Mitchell drug this out for over 40 minutes and actually called for a commercial when he was asked to announce his choice. It was a total circus. All this bravado over announcing what school recruits are choosing is out of hand.

It's a bunch of bull$hit is what it is. Since when does a 17 year old kid get to hold a gun to the head of a university's athletic program, it's fans, players, alumni, etc?

This recruiting crap is for the birds. The biggest reason why I've never followed college recruiting was because, as Auburn proved this past year, money can trump just about anything else used to recruit kids to your school. A 17 year old from a poor family has no weapon to use against the green enemy, and I ain't talking about kryptonite. Recruiting is important, but let's have some levity in all of this stupidity can we?

Yeah, I agree to a degree, but I think everyone, including me, would like to think in this day and age pay for play is not something that goes on with every big name player so the process is fun... It's just another competition---which means we can win it
