The eighth annual Operation Iron Ruck set off from the Walk of Champions in front of Bryant-Denny Stadium around 8 a.m., with members of the University of Alabama and Auburn University's Student Veterans Associations marching from one stadium to the other to raise awareness for veteran suicide. This year there are more than 160 participants, and they'll be getting to Auburn's Jordan-Hare Stadium in time to deliver a ceremonial game ball to the Iron Bowl's coin toss.
