🏈 Mac getting high praise from ESPN's Riddick

We were all lucky enough to be witness to that numerous times. I think he'll do well in the pros.

As I've said before, he has such a great spin on the ball. He's very accurate and it looks like just about everything he throws is pretty much a perfect spiral.
 
A friend who has been at the practices all week said Mac has done exactly what he needed to do (practices for the week just ended). He performed well, has been the best QB in Mobile (as he was supposed to be), and improved each day. Said it has been an impressive week that has definitely helped him. Teams wanted to see how he'd do with a cast of players he isn't comfortable with, and he's been great. His accuracy and control of the offense today really stood out. Coming into the week, some teams had Mac very high on their QB board, for others he was down a ways. After today, he will move up with some of those teams that had him slotted lower. He did apparently turn his ankle in practice today and I doubt he plays on Saturday now, but that is actually a positive.

In Najee news, the Dolphins are not even hiding the fact that they are enamored with #22. They've been all over him all week, on and off the field.
 
I don’t know if we as Bama fans will ever see a better group of people who happen to also be great football players, represent the University. Harris, Jones, Smith, et al are not only showing off their tremendous football skills in Mobile, they’re also showing everyone there that they’re also truly great people. It’s an why Coach Saban and a lot of us fans will forever hold this team special in our hearts.

I definitely feel like off the field problems have been down lately. Most schools still having them, but we have been building a program with character kids.
