You are a dip shit here. Old. Definitely cured. But a dip shit.

I recommend increasing your church attendance to more than once per month. And while you’re there, maybe lift your hands higher in the air … and wave them around even faster like you just don’t care.
You have no idea what the church does for the community.
I never claimed otherwise. I refer you back to the previous time when I needled you on this issue… when actually, I might have been responding to previous church video you shared lol. I went into great detail then explaining myself. It’s one thing to do something “for the community” and another thing entirely to do things which allow the community to thrive, without your continuous aid. What’s the saying, “It’s better to teach a person to fish than to give him one of your fish.” MLK Jr had a good quote I often think of when I critique First World Christianity:
Which leads me back to my point of, what is the Church (or yours specifically) doing to stop the injustice (e.g. Lindsey Graham) which makes charity needed? The Church gets consumed with doing “church things,” such as making silly, juvenile hype videos. Charity is another common church thing, and indeed it’s “commendable.” But by
only responding to poverty and need, the Church ends up serving as enabler of the State. Instead of jumping around like idiots on camera or pretending piety is preferable to politics, churches could repurpose all their resources and summon all hands on deck to overthrowing the conditions which cause deprivation to begin with. But nah, better to keep making hip music videos, attend elaborate multimedia worship services in our tax free enclaves, and keep paying our tithes rather than mobilizing as a massive voting block to enact better laws and elect better leaders who might liberate the needy from their dependence. But hey, opposing our political rulers might require too much sacrifice … perhaps of the kind Jesus offered.
