Silence was golden at church this morning.
I had two of my company VP's call me this morning from Amsterdam to offer congrats to the Crimson Tide and to make sure that I gave the resident Bulldog VP all the hell that he so rightfully deserves.

Hell yeah!! I was in Milledgeville playing a show last night and I was the lone Bama fan. Well, there was one other girl, but she was more interested in her drink than anything. Anyway, I was trying to contain myself, but it was nearly impossible. I did draw a few "stink-eyes" from some of the patrons and bartenders, but what do they expect?

I am back now after a weekend in Alabama and last night in Denver.
It's absolute heaven over here...heaven.
The magnets are on the car and will stay at least throughout the week (of course I had them on last week too) and the flag is flying outside my house.
It's just a good time and as nervous as I got and as nervous as I'll be every Saturday I'm enjoying the heck outta this game. I don't rub it in though. The best thing is I don't have to.

Everone @ work that Said Bama couldnt and wouldnt beat the dawgs didnt have shit to say.....I just looked @ them and smiled. and they wouldnt hardly come around our very small group of Bama fans (all 3 of us) that I have @ work.

I'm shocked by the number of times I heard, "I stopped watching at halftime" yesterday. What kind of fan are you? I remember 2003 when we trail UGA 37-10 at the half and I stuck it out to the end and pulled for my team.
My pastor (not even a college football fan, huge Redskins fan, though) just stood there in front of me and everyone else, and said, "Well, let's hear it..." I just smiled and said, "No, I'm not going to brag. Unless there's some diehard dawg fans around here.."
Fortunately, most of our church is a bunch of yankees and don't even care about football, but I've got the magnets on the car and smiling the whole time I'm stuck in Atlanta traffic!
