The most high-profile 2009 Alabama commitments were being recruited by Thompson. His list included Pensacola running back Trent Richardson, Foley lineman D.J. Fluker, St. Paul's quarterback AJ McCarron and Andalusia linebacker Nico Johnson.
During early conversations with Tennessee's new head coach Lane Kiffin, Thompson was adamant that he would not try to recruit any of his current Crimson Tide commitments to the Vols in the next three weeks.
"I wouldn't go back on any of the kids I recruited from my area," Thompson said. "That ain't the way I'm going to do it."

I really didnt think LT would try to recruit the same kids to tenn. He just needed a easier job, he could not handle the work load that is CNS's proccess.
I am actually looking forward to seeing the new recruits this year,and I'm not talking about just players

can anyone confirm that that Lance and his wife Stacy are getting a divorce. bham news is reporting it.
