Also remember 1993 when Miami was supposed to just mop the field with Bama...we all know how that turned out. I feel like Bama prepares for the team they face, both on offense and defense. Granted Fla and TT are both playing some dang good ball, but we are still undefeated and to win a NC, either Fla or TT are more than likely gonna have to line up against us. We should care less what the guys on ESPN, although I like Kirk as well, until a 1 goes up in the L column, we are #1....RTR

Can't ask for anything more than to be the underdog going into the SEC game and being ranked number one. Best of both worlds.

Simmer dude. It is his job to give his opinion... and he isn't a BAMA hater. He feels UF is the better team... so does pretty much anyone else that isn't a Tide fan. Don't sweat it. Saban won't. The players won't. It's all good.

I agree. Kirk is not a bad guy and as far as ESPN turds go, he is pretty ok. I think Florida is going to beat us too.

Kirk just now on sportscenter was talking about what happens if Texas Tech loses to Oklahoma. He said I don't know which of those 3 teams (Oklahoma, Texas, and Texas Tech) is going to play Florida once they beat Alabama!!!

I was going to post about this last night. That one comment by Herbstreit really got under my skin. I know Florida is the sexy pick right now and I don't fault Herby for picking them. I'm not going to sit here and say that he doesn't have a right to his opinion. I just felt that the "once they beat Alabama" comment showed a complete lack of any respect at all for Alabama. I guess we shouldn't even show up in Atlanta because "once we do" Florida's going to wipe the floor with us. The way Herby stated that last night was like he already knew it was a foregone conclusion. He didn't say
"if". He didn't say "presuming". He said "once", indicating that it was a fact that it was going to happen.

I'd love nothing more than to see us buck up and slam Florida in the SECCG.

Lets just not forget we got 2 games left before we even think about Florida. A lot can still change before then.
