| BSB/SB Kids first pro game...

Took the 3 little Ches to a Royals game tonight. We scored some free tickets and ended up in great seats about 10 rows up behind home plate.

We were a bit late, but showed up just in time for a hit by pitch that loaded the bases and a grand slam followed.

The place erupted. It was crazy. Kids fell in love with baseball... at least for the night.

Too bad it wasn't a Braves game.

I have only been to one pro game and loved it. Was there a big crowd?

I'd say it was about 80% full at Kauffman. . . So 29k ish.

Lots of high fives. Unfortunately, it was a lot of big events too early. Rest of game was boring in comparison. Fortunately, ball games are "events" nowadays. When kids got bored, there was a merry go round, splash pad., putt putt golf, arcade, ice cream shop, etc.

Pretty much an all in one fun night.
