Good news to hear. What's the chances of him redshirt ing? Or is it almost a given that he will see the field this fall?

Due to depth, I wouldn't mind seeing him 'shirt this season.

But, based on what I've been told, I don't think we'll be able to keep him off the field.

Personally, I see him as a possession type of receiver. I see him fitting in to 3rd down situations. Geez, height of a tight end and speed of a WR?

One of those things I think is worth watching this season? 3rd down conversion percentage. I believe we have the ability to be scary good in that category.

Agree with you, Terry! Besides, what's the point of redshirting him now? Next year Cooper, Black, and Jones will still be around. Falkins can be a solid 4th receiver and like Terry said, a great option for 3rd downs.

I'm really pulling for Norwood to keep improving, have a great senior campaign and stay just ahead of these young guns.

I suspect we'll look back at Norwood and he'll be in a category a lot like Joey Jones or Dabo Swinney. Not a spectacular, high lighted player but one that we look at and say "he came through when we needed him to come through."

Him stepping up in the LSU game last season was something I'll remember for years and years to come. It was a performance we could label as "name writ in Crimson flame" worthy.

Absolutely. He was big in our last two NC games. That's why I'd like to see him go out with a good senior year, and not get put to the side by the youngsters. Same way with Sunseri. He started losing his playing time a bit toward the end of the year. He's a smart, tough player (I put him in the John Mangum camp if he develops this year), but another one that could get marginalized by our young talent.

I think I'll start a thread on this. "Who gets pushed by out young talent?"

RTR,

Tim
