šŸˆ Julio Jones, just now on Undisputed to Shannon Sharpe: ā€œI’m out (of Atlanta). I want to winā€

On Thursday, ESPN's Dianna Russini reported that the Falcons have discussed several trade offers for Jones, including an offer for a future first-round pick. According to Russini, there is a sense around the league a trade could go down as early as next week. Reports state that the Falcons' asking price for Jones was at least at one time a first-round pick -- which does sound a bit rich for the 32-year-old wideout who played in just nine games last season, but there is now reportedly at least one team who is ready to pay that price.

Julio Jones wants out of Atlanta and the Atlanta Falcons want a first-round pick in return for one of the best wide receivers of this era. Enter the Philadelphia Eagles.

Per Sports Illustrated's Ed Kracz, the Eagles are interested in acquiring Jones from the Falcons -- who reportedly have a first-round pick offer on the table for the seven-time Pro Bowl wide receiver. The Eagles do have two first-round draft picks in 2022 and a conditional first-round pick from the Indianapolis Colts (if Carson Wentz plays 75% of the snaps or plays 70% of the snaps in 2021 and the Colts make the playoffs) available -- one of which they could use to acquire Jones.

Philadelphia could easily part ways with Indianapolis' first-round pick -- which is right now a second-round pick -- for Jones. The Eagles would be paying a high price if they were to part ways with their own first-round pick or the one acquired from the Miami Dolphins prior to the draft (both of which are expected to be top 20 picks).

I heard Julio didn’t know Shannon Sharpe had him live on tv when he made the infamous ā€œI’m outta thereā€ comment. That’s not cool, if that’s the truth. I think Shannon crossed a line there and will lose the trust of athletes.

That is actually against the law (the peoples republic of Kalifornia). With respect I disagree that JJ didn't know he was LIVE.

There was an article published in the last few days discussing how this will effect the relationship between Fox Sports and the NFL/NFLPA. In what I think is a legitimate complaint the Atlanta administration feels their draft position/leverage was harmed.

When it comes to shows like ESPN’s First Take and Fox Sports’ Undisputed, they all hope that the staged debates about the sports news cycle become part of the sports news cycle itself.

On Monday morning, Undisputed got what it wanted, but it could potentially come at a cost.

During the show, Shannon Sharpe appeared to cold call Atlanta Falcons all-world wide receiver Julio Jones and asked Jones about the current trade rumors while on speaker phone. Sharpe didn’t tell Jones that he was both on speaker and live TV, so it was unclear if he even knew what audience he was speaking to.

If this wasn’t a staged or arranged call for TV, Fox Sports may have violated California law on two-party consent.

Yeah Dak's salary takes up a lot of the cap ( I saw where he is the highest paid athlete in the U. S.) and behind Conner McGregor #1 and #2 & #3 soccer players (Messi and Ronaldo) putting him at # 4 in the world.
The ROI of Prescott will soon extend beyond his productive years for Dallas if not already.

Seattle has jumped in on the act, according to ESPN. No specifics were mentioned. I'd so much rather see Julio play for either the Titans or the Pats. Actually, I'd love to see him in black and gold, but that's more likely a page from Tolkien or Martin than reality.
