🏈 Joey Galloway

He sounded like a teenage girl who just got dumped. Going on and on about if you take away Amari Cooper...Pollack's body language was telling. It was all he could do not to call him an idiot on air.

He's been running his mouth all year about Bama being overrated. It would serve as poetic justice and to shut his yapper for Bama to now mop the floor with his beloved Ohio State.

Not only is Galloway a severely prejudiced individual, he's angry about it.

The fact that he would say that the only thing to Alabama is Amari Cooper demostrates one or a combination of the following three things:

1) complete and utter stupidity
2) blatant hatred for Alabama (hence his prejudice)
3) total disengagement with the college football season.

I've seen him and Pollack together many times, and there appears to be bad blood between the two.

I know many of you are not fans of Paul Finebaum, but I've enjoyed the times he's teed off on Galoway.

Well, at least he is sticking to what he has been saying all year. He has stated in early October that 'Bama was overrated. At that time, I wasn't sure how good we were. To that end, I usually feel the same at that time of year anyway.

He has the mindset that 'Bama isn't what they used to be, defensively. But I think that is purely based on the 'eye' test, getting burned on long pass plays for example. However, this defense is getting better & to assess that their QB would be better off starting against our Defense compared to Oregon or FSU based on the fact that we are not as strong as before, is just missing the mark.

Lastly, I think he is making his entire argument that OSU can make Simms one dimensional by taking away Cooper. After all, Ole Miss & Arkansas did it, surely OSU can do that, right? Simms isn't the same QB from a month ago & the rest of the offense has improved. And one thing that I have learned from CNS during this break, is that the QB's usually play pretty well b/c they get their reps in with WR, they know the gameplan a thousand ways to Sunday.

Galloway saying that IF they take away Amari makes us one dimensional and it makes Blake "have to think" to me sends a cheap shot at Blake and his intelligence. We saw exactly how Kiffin exploits a defense that likes to try and "take out" Cooper. We throw the deep post to Cooper in the Barn game on play action and then against Mizzou, run the EXACT same play with DeAndrew on the post! Blake is a different QB than what he was two months ago against Ole Miss and Arky. Yeldon and Henry are getting in a groove. OJ has learned to block and is now more of a threat in the passing game now BECAUSE a defense can see #88 come onto the field and start yelling "PASS!" ArDarius Stewart will be 100% as well along with Vogler blocking in the run game. Kiffin will have the full complement of toys with the exception of Drake with a healthy O line. Galloway needs to shut his mouth and just concentrate on the other bowl games.

Remember he was on the last Ohio St team, that Bama beat in the Gator Bowl.

Citrus Bowl.
