📝 Javon Robinson is continually back in the news, though it's not with another SEC school in-state.

A flashback to August of 2012 and a thread where the subject was touched on.

A quick google search and you can find more details surrounding his recruitment. The bottom line is after he committed to Auburn his high school transcript was changed. That changed transcript was submitted to the NCAA and cleared. It came to light when another school—not in the SEC mind you—brought it to attention.

People who cover Auburn's recruiting have said on several occasions that "Auburn isn't recruiting Robinson." Is not and can not: there's a debate.

There's no doubt there's a lot of interest from Robinson in attending UA. Here's a quick snippet from an interview with TI.

"My interest in Alabama is not a secret," he says. "When I first came to GMC, I told a reporter that I wanted to go to Alabama. That was my number one school. It wasn't if I wanted to go to Alabama, it was I know I'm going to Alabama.

"My interest is solidified, regardless if I've committed or not. I've completely let it be known that I want to go there.

How much interest does UA have in Javon? There's interest, no doubt. How much is something I don't see anyone being able to quantify.

We currently hold a commitment from Desherrius Flowers (currently ranked 4th best running back on 247's Composite rankings) and have offered the vast majority of the top ten at the RB position. That leads me to believe we're taking at least two running backs for the 2015 class.

He's a kid with a long story and one I'd say is worth watching/following leading up to next February.
