To the comment about him being linked to the FBI probe I'll say this...he and his family were cleared of any wrong doing , that isn't relevant to his waiver other than it should validate him gaining eligibility

One would hope they'd look at it the same way. Given the puerile nature of the NCAA and how they've handled decisions in the past?

I've said it before but the NCAA has zero credibility left. IMO this is 100% because his name was linked to that FBI probe - whether right or wrong - and it's no more than that. For the NCAA to just deny it without giving any reason is beyond laughable at this point. The NCAA should be advocates for what's best for the athletes and they never are. Either things need to change or all of these major conferences need to break away and form their own version of the NCAA, because they are not doing what they are supposed to be doing.
