| FTBL I've got a feeling 'bout this UGA game...

I love the fact that every team we have played knew exactly where we were going to run the ball, yet they could do nothing about it.

Clemson, Tulane, Western Kentucky, and Arkansas (who many rate as battling it out with Miss State as the WORST team in the SEC) are not exactly Tennessee (defensively), LSU, Georgia, or Auburn.

Why do you think that at some point our run game won't produce 150yds or more?

What was our team rushing total yardage versus Tulane?

Granted, Andre Smith did not play that week, but is it possible Georgia, Mississippi, Tennessee, LSU, and Auburn might be better defensively than Tulane? Are we assured Smith, or any other OLmen will be available each and every week and at full health?

Oh and JPW is 59% accurate Stafford is 60.8% granted Stafford has twice as many yards :p

And what would be your conclusion here?

Am not arguing the point that you should throw just for the sake of throwing. Feel no need to argue against a point I did not make.

I was just using a your post as an introduction to my rant about 8 and 9 in the box. The part about throwing for the sake of throwing was just thrown in. I realize you weren't saying that.

I didn't mean my comments to be taken that Stafford sucked, just that I don't think the gap is that great between him and JPW. JPW doesn't have to get the passing yardage for Bama to be effective offensively. For UGA, it's probably a little more important that Stafford get his if they're to succeed. That's all.

As for Richt's gimmicks...yeah, he's a gimmick guy.

I have a feeling - Bama takes care of business and wins convincingly in Athens.

I also had a strange dream about the game. Bama was up big. The Georgia offense couldn't stop Cody at all. Finally, the Georgia offense quadruple-teamed Cody down near the goal line. Although Cody did make the 4th and goal tackle for a loss, he sadly lost his balance and fell on UGA VI (or is it VII?) crushing the poor pooch and retiring yet another Georgia mascot.

I've really gotta stop eating Welsh Rarebit before bedtime!

20 Bonus points to anyone able to guess the 1960's sitcom reference. :)

Roll Tide!

On one hand you compare Miss St to Arkansas in terribleness, then u turn around and say none of them are exactly Auburn. Last time I checked that terrible Mississippi team that you compared in terribleness to Arkansas almost beat that wonderful Auburn team you mention.

Tulane isn't as terrible as you might think they aren't great, but their 2 losses are to us and ECU. We came out flat thinking we had already beaten Tulane. and we still beat them pretty good. Andre will be there for the UGA game, so don't expect subpar performance like we experienced with Tulane.) Lol winning 20-6 is soo not subpar....)

That JPW and Stafford are both pretty good qb's UGA has more of a passing game while bama has more of a running game.

I had a weird dream ( never had a bama football dream) that it was our ball with 5 seconds left we were down by 1 point and we had 80 yards to go, we threw a pass down the field and with 1 second left we were attempting a 26 yard field goal from teh left hash mark, with 1 sec on the clock. Tiffin kicked it WIDE RIGHT, or so it looked at the last possible second it sliced and sailed right through the uprights!!

Give me my 20 points. That was Gomer Pyle. He kept sleepwalking every time he ate Welsh Rarebit.

I am cautiously optimistic about this game. I think Bama can get it done, but I still have the memories of past collapses too fresh in my mind.

Go BAMA and finish strong!

Man, that didn't take long!

Give that man 20 bonus point and a cigar.

Oh wait, I gave UGA the cigar after Cody sat on him!

I don't know why I'm acting so silly today. I guess I'm pumped for the game.

I think that we will have another favorable ground game attack. I think that we will be able to manage/control the clock pretty easily. I predict a 250yd ground game with Coffee and Ingram close to 100 each.

Our offensive line dwarfs there defense. Just by watching GA play, I think their D is very quick but probable better suited for stopping a spread offense attack than a straight ahead run game. We will shine in this area.

If we don't give up too many big plays or too many turnovers, we will win easily. GA is ripe for the picking. Take a look at the South Carolina game.

Bamatilldeath we are butha's from different motha's! I like the way you think. I beleieve that our OL will rule this game and we my have 400 yds rushing spread overt two maybe three backs. When we ahve taken the life out of their DL we can dink and dunk at will. I think we win this one boys! By 7 or 10, but I see us coming home with a big fat W!
