I really haven't looked over many messages on Bama forums talking about the game yesterday. The few that I have read over haven't had any threads talking about Menzie's role.

Sure, there have been comments about his interception and return for a TD. I do believe that was the nail in the coffin. But, I haven't seen any comments about how well he did covering Joe Adams. If I'm not mistaken Adams only had one reception when Menzie was covering him. Adams did lead the 'Backs with a quarter of their teams receptions.

A lot are talking about Dre this morning and rightfully so. He had one of his best outings in Crimson. Why did we see so many Dre highlights? A lot of it had to do with the 'Backs lack of success going against DQ.

Just as a side note:

I really wish Lester could have pulled that INT in that hit him dead in the hands in the forth quarter. For no other reason than it would be something to talk about if he would have had a pick six. It would have meant our secondary scored as many points as their offense.

After that first Arky scoring drive the defense really settled in, especially the DBs. How many times did Wilson simply chunk it out of bounds or dump it off for 3 yards because the DBs had it clamped the he'll down. All three corners had amazing days, Menzie was a true shutdown corner and Dre was murdering their receivers all day.
