Someone said it above, the answer is no because they haven't won when the lights are the brightest. Sure, winning all of those games are great, but the losses came against the elite and teams that are actually producing. By this logic, you're saying Harbaugh is doing just as good of a job at Michigan. He has basically lost to Michigan State and Ohio State, while beating almost everyone else. That's not elite. Notre Dame's schedule looks nice because we don't see East Tennessee State and West Mississippi A&T, but for the longest time Army wasn't great, Navy was not a challenge, Michigan has had their issues since Lloyd Carr left, USC has been less of a team since Carroll left, Stanford has not been much, and now you have the same weak schedule as Clemson against an ACC conference that is sporting one team. Alabama, Georgia, Florida, LSU, and Auburn would be in the playoff every single year with those schedules.
