🏈 Is ND going to the BCS this year?

11 games? They only have to win 8 and they are guaranteed a spot. Most likely, if they win 8 games they will play in the Fiesta.

ND is the only team in the BCS upper tier level to have this sweet deal. Most teams have to win their conference and not have over 1 loss.

Not ND, all they have to do is just manage to win 8.

I think the deal with ND being guaranteed a BCS bid is to win at least 8 and be ranked in the top 12. Of course with the media, if they have 8 wins, they'll probably be in the top 5.

IMHO, Notre Dame's BCS "in" is the biggest sham in college football. Those clowns never get criticized for the schedule they play (i.e. they play Navy yearly, and Air Force almost as often). Now they've stocked the schedule with powerhouses such as Washington State and Washington, Purdue, and Stanford. That schedule is laughable!

Win 8 games in the SEC or any other self-respecting conference and you get a trip to Nashville. Notre Dame will win 8 or more and end up in a BCS bowl game and likely get DESTROYED. The media will still love 'em though, and talk about how fortunate we are to have them playing college football.

The whole thing is a sham. College sports is really going down the crapper in a lot of ways, and it always goes back to money and influence. To suggest that there is any kind of level playing field in college sports, from NCAA enforcement on down is comical to me.

Could you please clarify a little? How do you really feel about Notre Dame and the way the media/NCAA treats them?
