There were some concerns from some following the UGA, KY, and OM games that the Tide was dropping their level of play (and intensity) in the 2nd half. On one occasion, Saban even mentioned that he thought they played so hard early in games, that it might have been a bit draining on them late the 2nd half. Well, ever since the OM game, Alabama has played 4 games in a row (Tenn, Arky St, LSU, and MSU) where they have come back out in the 3rd quarter and taken over the game. BAMA didn't have the positive results in the LSU game that they had in the other 3, but if you look, you'll see that they really clamped down on LSU's rushing attack, while getting their own rushing game going. Physically, they took over that game, it just didn't show up on the scoreboard like these other weeks. I think it is safe to say though that whatever issues the team had earlier, Saban got them figured out. For the last month, this team has been tough to move the ball on in the 2nd half, and on offense, the OL has taken over the games late.
