Do you see any of the new guys having big roles this season, especially with some of the loaded positions?

I really want to see Howard and Henry start.

OJ, Henry, and Brown are the guys I'm expecting on offense to get alot of playing time (or start) and A'Shawn Robinson and maybe Dee Liner on defense.

Stewart was told offense at slot receiver. An uncle of mine is a football official in the Jefferson County area and he had Fultondale several times. He has done this on the side for the past 30 years. He said that Stewart is pound for pound the hardest hitter he has seen in his 30 years.

There are a couple of linemen that should contribute this season, I would think. Especially the JUCO guys. The guy I think might make an impact early and electrify us is going to be Henry.

I don't see Saban wasting time on trying to redshirt or bring this kid along too slowly (and I only stress TOO, slowly). This kid has an NFL body, mad talent and is leaving early, barring anything unforseen. I would think that coach would want to get the most out of him he can, while he can. I can see Henry in a 2a/2b type of role with Fowler next year while Yeldon is named the official starter. Providing that Henry makes the necessary strides in the spring, he'll be splitting carries with Fowler, at worst, if not outright replacing him on anything other than short yardage/goalline.

We have other good backs, but Drake isn't in the same stratosphere as Henry in terms of talent, and Hart can't stay healthy.

Just my hunch on this thing, and I have been known to be wrong. :bluebiggrin:

I actually think Drake can be REALLY good but just the pure numbers may hurt his chances, Harts gonna get a chance to show some things in punt returns and probably in different packages with him lined up in the slot if he can get his speed back.

Jonathan Allen for me. I cannot remember the last time we got a guy like him & with all of the other D-lineman we got, it is going to be tough to handle him.

I think Henry and Reuben appear physically the most ready, well, and Miller. Guys, just looking, I think Drake is faster than any back we have. He seems to get the corner easily. I'd be interested to know who REALLY is the fastest guy on the team.

Hart IMO should have just gone to Michigan..His style of play really doesn't fit the offensive system

I hope Kenyan Drake can get a fair amount of number next year...Kind of hard with all the backs we have, but that guy has the true ability to be a good RB

kenyan drake deserves a shot. he is fantastic. new rbs have a lot to learn before starting also. henry can wait his turn.

He kind of reminds me more of Terry Grant. I just think that with incoming talent, Hart could fall..I hope not, would love too see us use him in some screens or maybe return punts.
