I've defended Gary a lot but the last few weeks have done him no favors. I thought last week (Bama vs. LSU) was one of the worst games I've ever heard from him. It was REALLY bad. There was one point where Tua threw a pass into the dirt and Gary just beamed with praised about what an amazing throw and catch it was. Nessler seemed as confused as I was.
Then, this week. I don't think Danielson means anything by it but first not realizing it wasn't one of the players that was hurt then laughing when he watched the replay and then suggesting that a) it might have been her "fault" and b) her being injury didn't really matter (I.e. she isn't important as a player) really did him no favors at all. Might be time for ole Gary to maybe get a studio job somewhere.
I thought the CBS studio crew did a much better job than their counterparts at ESPN did covering Tua's injury. Jesse Palmer almost became an equal with Danny Kannel with his know it all attitude.
Pretty sure that has always defined Jesse Palmer. Speaking of Danny I would expect some ridiculous comment from him about the Tua injury but I have not heard anything.
