This is a stubborn and short-sighted view. It reads as you being so determined to believe there was something amiss you'll do anything to either make someone believe you're right, or convince yourself you're right.
Take Simon and Davis. Why on earth would any Bama fan want Simon's story to be broadcast all of the interwebs? Why would any coach want his lack of discretion getting any more play than it did?
He didn't. He won't. And that should be very easy to understand.
And yet each time you keep talking about my specific view of that situation. My original comment only eluded to the controversy. My original statement had much more to do with the program getting better and that I was glad it was behind us. YOU felt the need to get it clarified.
Now, it's just plain talk to me, and what fans happen to agree with or not, matters little. Some of us in our fandom can speak our minds on most anything Crimson, while others take a more, "see no evil, hear no evil and speak no evil," approach to their loyalties. Again, I don't really care which one you are, but just to remind you, you brought it up.
