🏈 Important to Remember

Hi,
As a husky fan I'm aware that while I think we'll play well and be competitive I'm not expecting a win. However, while it's my favorite sport, I think there are other, and more important things, as well.

If you look at these rankings, the University of Alabama ranks 103 among public universities.

meanwhile UW ranks 54th

it should come as no surprise that bama is so great at football and schools that actually prioritize education in the pac-12 fall far behind

Stirring the pot already, but I see the word auburn in your moniker. Nuff said;)

Riddle me this: If a person graduates from udub and another person graduates from Bama and they both are Summa Cum Laudes and both have a perfect 4.0 GPA then who is the smartest?

Ain't here either @TerryP
As far as first posts go ... this is no different than Sparty fans last year, OSU fans the year before, or Notre Dame fans a few years ago, or Texas fans ... or, as one of their "visitors" chose to bump a thread from the Utes ... Utah fans.

In other words, bordering on boring but still amusing.

There is an Auburn, Washington. I've got to give a bit of a break on the username based on that alone.

All things considered, Alabama kicks your schools ass at everything. You're not Stanford, Cal Berkley, or even USC. The fact we'd destroy you as an overall sports program, and that close academically shows we are in fact better than you at almost everything. Obviously that 54th ranked education is doing wonders for you. Hey, thanks for visiting the site though.

At least a Washington game is mentioned in our fight song, so they have a place in our past successes. aubrun, no where to be found in anything I sing (other than Dixieland Delight).

Good for you. If Alabama isn't playing Washington in the Math Bowl, I'll root for you.

Unless you're confessing to a weight problem, shouldn't that be "Huskies fan"? A distinct odor of Lee County wafts up from this post.

And all along, I thought the CFP stood for College Football Playoff. Is this the final 4 for Science, Math, Chess, or Debate? I could've swore this is about FOOTBALL!!!

I will tell you why UW is 54th on this list and Bama is 103. We don't let people here just go buy mary jane over the counter. With your name here it already a strike on you here.

The guys IP reflects the same area as Auburn, WASHINGTON...

I seriously doubt there's a connection to the school in Ga
Thank Terry, now that you posted this. I do remember about Auburn, Washington. Got some family living up in Washington. Terry, you know something, if he a college football fan, he knows that Auburn is a rivalry with Bama. Just like we know about the Apple Cup. :D

It's funny how every big 10, 12 and Pac 12 school makes the same bs claim about our academics because it makes them feel better at being second rate at sports. The people who write this garbage about academic research are themselves bias for their institutions and much like liberal arts majors use historical revisionism to infect the textbooks that are studied by our youth, these biased reports come from people with an agenda to sell.

I look at how fast Universities in the South are growing and attracting out of state students to attend as a good litmus test. Parents aren't dumb and college is about getting prepared for a career, getting a job and getting their life started. Since more and more people are pouring into our Universities and an amazing rate I would say that the word on the street is that we are getting it done for our students as well.
