I was stationed in Okinawa for two years and even that shit wasn't as bad as the satanic heat in the deep south. To think people lived here before the invention of HVAC...
Visited an uncle back in the day (mid 90's) in Raton NM...folks out there were squalling about the heat...July at 95 degrees....humidity was 12%..That to me was a WTF moment.
