You guys know what a palm sander looks like. The air tool was fashioned that way, but also seemed to have the power of a impact driver. He was using it for deck screws and bolts between joists that were so narrow you couldn't get a drill in; a ratchet was a little large.

I've never used one, but I've seen them.

I get upset with myself every time I look at my air compressor and realize how little use it gets. It leads to wishes like this one..."I should."

Yeah mine hasn't been on in quite a while. I bought a battery-powered brad nailer not too long ago, so I don't need to fire up the air compressor for that, anymore. I think the last thing I used the compressor for was to put air in the tires on the vehicles.

...and I have a portable pack for that which jumps off batteries, etc. The last time the electricity was out it ran my laptop and recharged my cell along with a few lights ... still online, still could see.

Handy. Especially with the electric tools I still have.

I've got one of the portable jump starters that I keep in my truck, but it doesn't have the tire inflator. But it does have the USB ports so it can charge a laptop or phone if needed.

MIne is a basic road kit+. Bought two at ...can't think of the name. Green lettering on the signs. $120 or so five or six years ago. Lights, air pump, 120 and 240, USB, jumpers. It carries a charge quite a while.
