Affirm is one of these financing companies involved in this "promotion." And if I get this correctly...

One could buy a Big Mac under the "buy now, pay later" program. Now, the bill comes due and they can't make the payment just like they couldn't afford the Big Mac the first time.

It's reported to FICO and their credit takes a hit over...McDonalds.

I guess "brown bagging it" is now considered NOT to be PC?

I've always thought of "payday loans" to be predatory. Horrible.
