Cheddar soup: Butter, onion, flour, chicken broth, half and half, jalapenos, sour cream, and shredded cheddar.
Pulled out an old Corning Ware dish that's almost as old as I am. I remember where they came from: Green Stamps.
Crisco...grease the dish, scallop the potatoes and then layer. Potatoes, soup, potatoes, soup,...
Threw diced broccoli on top like I mentioned. Great presentation! A good looking dish. Nice taste when topped with bacon bits.
Aight. I did this...and let me say, it came out GREAT!Menu tomorrow: Rib-eyes, asparagus, and a scalloped potato baked kind of thing...haven't put it together in my head yet...it'll be topped with cheddar and I'm thinking broccoli shavings.
