that's not a problem in and of itself. There are folks on this board who pull for other teams---including Bama's archrival, Auburn---and they fit in just fine.

The thing that grates on many Bama fans' nerves is when fans of a Bama rival show up and start talking smack, typically right before (or after) they play Alabama. As others have stated, these rival fans are not hear to discuss sports. They want to provoke and aggravate Bama fans. In short, they are obnoxious. It's like somebody coming into your house and spitting on your supper. It's just not right.

If you don't pull for Alabama, and even if you pull against Bama, that's fine. Just be civil about it.

A couple of years ago a girl came into my bar and proceeded to tell me some story about what happened to her that weekend. I looked at her and said, "you have to understand, I don't pay attention to 99% of the people in here and don't listen to 100% of their stories." About ten minutes later she tapped me on the shoulder and asked, "have you heard anything I've said?"

The answer to her question was no. Little did she realize she was part of that 99%.

I say all of that to bring up this point...don't pay attention to it. The "antics" don't bother me...I just ignore them.

I have no problem with smack talk really, its the ones that come in and start posting "breakdowns" and "analysis" like they're auditioning for a gig on ESPN yet everything they say are the most biased things you've ever heard yet try and say its an unbiased look at the game. then they wanna start name calling when Bama fans call em retards for it... this is a BAMA message board. go to the Corndog.com message board...
