As much as I've criticized Saban lately, there is no chance recruiting will drop under his watch. He and the tradition is the reason the recruits come, not Kirby Smart.

Ole numbnuts (the thread starter) is claiming that Smart will leave and recruiting will drop because somehow the recruits (and Smart) will know that Saban is leaving.

If Saban leaves, fine, go, i dont want someone in charge that doesnt want to stick around anyway. Second, why would he leave? He already tried the NFL and didnt do so hot. I think Saban is here, and he is here for the long term.

Gracious.... Saban is leaving... Saban is leaving... Kirby Smart is going to go to UF because he knows Saban is leaving.... As soon as the season ends the stupid starts flowing even worse than normal.... First I read that Saban is mediocre and now he's leaving... Saban will NEVER coach Dallas as long as Jerry Jones is the owner, first of all Saban likes to be the CEO and he wouldn't be in Dallas with JJ having his hand in everything, second, Saban has NO interest in the NFL hence why he came to Alabama in the first place!!!!

I bet the people that started this thread and the "Saban is medicre" threads also believe Obama is a great President.

We have not had a good president in A LONG LONG TIME....the comment/comparison about Saban to Obama was pointless..:headscratch:

Saban is not mediocre. It seems many people keep forgetting where the team was before Saban came. Sometimes I wish I was not even a football or sports fans because of the absolute idiots that come along with it. Most of the time it is entertaining, but sometimes the ignorance is "just too much".

I wonder if we would have a thread if we'd just had the season we've had and there was no buzz about anyone wanting our HC or any of the assistants. Our staff is well thought of, and those who start such gossip aren't going to be talking about coaches with bad programs getting jobs with top flight ones.

I'm a die-hard Cowboys fan and I think Jason Garrett will be the new head coach. He has done very well since Wade Phillips was bounced out of Dallas.

When Garrettt was the OC....they said the offense had no identity..now hes the HC via default. :lance:
