🏈 I will get flamed for this ......

If you put this loss on Jalen Hurts, you're about as clueless as possible. Jalen will be the starter, period. I am so beyond sick of this bullshit overreaction anytime he has a less than SUPER game.

I did not hang this loss on JH. This was a team loss. But everything I stated is the truth you must be blind if you don't see it.

Just gets old hearing the stupid bullshit on the topic. You take a small sample size of Tua and hold it against Hurts' and you act like Tua has accomplished some monumnetal feat, is a seasoned passer and commander of the offense. Sure, he has looked good, but he's also not been in the fire at all. Hurts has proven he can make plays. Sacked twice and nine hurries has nothing to do with his progressions, it has to do with his offensive line breaking down. Hurts can't force Robert Foster to run a three yard route on 4th down instead of two when the defense is bearing down on him. Hurts can't force a defensive back to not hold Ridley when Ridley has beat them, and only 15 yards come of a potential 40-50 yard pass. In the end, it's just too easy for you to point fingers rather than allow him to work. Instead of bitching about progressions, take a look and see if the line has allowed him to progress. Salad tossers, I don't think so. You just sound like a fucking tool for throwing your team under the bus when they lose. A kindergardener could blame the same talking points you bring up every time with Hurts, it takes actual research and knowledge to look at the whole picture.
Dont even bother to respond to that idiot. Every single week that moron has screamed "Tua time" any time Jalen so much as throws an incompletion. Had Tua came in and played poorly he would have whined like the little bitch he is about that, too.

The entire team played like shit but for some reason certain people feel the need to lay the blame at one person.

Try rewatching game and pay close attention to all the times our QB abandoned pocket when it hadn't broken down or at worst stepping up would have given us a chance. Obviously Hurts not to blame for this one but I still say Tua sees field better and more accurate. Doesn't make me any less a fan.

BAMA is bound by Jalens passing progression , and to this point he doesn’t trust his self enough throw it in tight coverage . he just relies on what he does best instead of pushing the issue ...and when your down double digits you Haft to have the confidence you can put it in there ...

News flash : BAMA’s QB is one dimensional vs. comparable defenses

I mean his 4th down pass at the end didn’t even give them a chance .. not good .

I don’t care who starts but we haft to have a legit threat of a down field passing game or a good Defence can shut you down ....

Guess sometimes we forget that these are 18-21 year olds. Yep, I got ticked off during the game quite a bit but now that I've had time to step back from the cliff; we've got one of, if not the best coach of all time. How many teams that have ever stepped on the field have a resume that can stack up against ours over the past 10 years or so? Sometimes you just have to tip your hat to the other team whether it was talent, schemes, injuries, internal issues or whatever the case or cases may be. I still say there will be 3 teams who won't want to play us this year if we make it into the final 4 and pretty sure we will be in the mix most if not all years that we have left with Nick leading the way.

No flame here! I agree 100%. I will take it a step farther and say its time to replace Brain Daboll at offensive coordinator if he is unwilling to adapt to the college game. His offensive scheme is not suited for college football. Saban runs the risk of losing 2 years of very talented players if Hurts remains at QB.

Jim McElwain is available. I would like to see him back.

Jalen had his worst game as a starting QB at Alabama, bar none. He didn't see open receivers. He didn't manage the clock. He didn't get the team lined up as time ran down in the 4th quarter. He carried the ball loosely. That doesn't mean Tua is ready or should take over from Jalen. Who do I blame? Let's make a list.

Hurts
The OL
The DL
Daboll (the opening drive of the 2nd half worked to perfection. Why didn't he continue?)
DBs (their tackling was horrendous)

At this point in the list, let's just put it on the entire team and coaching staff. They were capable of so much more.

My issues tonight with Hurts was not seeing the open guys, making inaccurate throws when he did see them, forcing a few that could have been picked, and taking sacks/stepping out of bounds when he didn't see an open WR. Heck, the first or second possession of the game, we were backed up from a penalty already and he rolls right, rolls all the way to the OB line and just steps out for a 6-7 yard loss. All he had to do was flick t out of bounds. 2 other times he took a sack in similar spots. Made no sense. But he had a bad game. That's stacked against a lot of good ones.

We have pretty much our entire offense back from last year. Stud RBs, stud receivers, veteran line, returning QB. Why has our offense struggled so much the last 3 SEac games? Not the defenses fault.

Harris and Bo were running the ball very well. Why the hell dis we not hand it off more. That's my other beef.

Jalen has won 25 of 27 and so we need to replace him? Sounds crazy for sure but ............he will never get any better than he is today. He lacks the total confidence needed in his passing game skills. I made this same comment months back about Jalen and I stand by them. I played QB (not at his level) and I was more afraid of F up than anything. JMO but I believe Jalen has that same lack of confidence in the decision he is about to make thus the hesitation.

Nick Saban will have a plenty of time to determine who will get the call in 2018. I am hopeful that in this coming Bowl game that Tua will get the call in the 2nd Qtr and get at least the entire QTR. I am ready for some Brian Robinson and Josh Jacobs time at RB.

Just one thing I disagree with in your post. Alabama has won 25 of 27 when Jalen has started.

No we were exposed in the msstate game and allbarn could finish. Basic blocking, tackling, and protection of the qb was missing. Maybe we will get better but probably not this year.

Will be watching how far we drop in the standings but Wisconsin will move up and Miami will move down.
