Hey Swamptick: At the risk of getting crucified for asking, who is the guy in the suit that's in your sig? It's a kick-arse picture, but I can't place who it is.

Former player, Siran Stacy. Honorary captain for this years game against Auburn.

Google his name...he lost every member of his family about a year ago in a car accident except for his little girl.

Sad story...but a very emotional scene in Bryant-Denny a few weeks ago.

Kudos to your AD for trying to beef up your schedule by adding michigan, but they turned out to be the worst Michigan team ever.

That's one of the most infuriating things about scheduling, especially when you're in a non-BCS conference. We always hear the "play some good teams" argument, then when we schedule some of them, they turn out to be flops. Michigan was in the top 10 when that game was scheduled, and they absolutely sucked. Same thing with UCLA last year. They were #11 when we played them, and ended up as a middle of the road Pac-10 team. Frustrating, to be sure.

Yep, we thought we were getting a top 10 team that was the favorite to win the ACC as our opener this year.....

But we did hammer them

Auburn, pre-season pick to win the West. LSU, pre-season top 10 as well. Georgia, pre-season #1.

Heck, Kentucky was a different team when we played them and then they were hit by an injury bug that devastated that team...started with Locke, and then got worse from that point on. They had a couple hurt coming in to our game if I recall correctly.

This was a weird year in the SEC...from teams performances, to coaching changing we are seeing now...
